Description

Our Albino Bristlenose Plecos are a staple in many community aquarium. They are known for their albino colouration and named for the males large bristles that they develop as they mature. These plecos grow up to 15 centimetres in length depending on their diet and tank size.

Age and Longevity

All Albino Bristlenose Plecos are shipped between 3 to 5 months of age, often before full maturity at around 4 centimetres. This ensures maximum longevity in your aquarium. With proper care, pleco typically live 5 to 10 years.

Enhancing Colour and Appearance

• Feeding a varied diet, including live foods such as cucumber, zucchini and algae wafers.

• Using dark-coloured aquariums, which enhance the make the albino colour stand out.

• Add caves, driftwood and hiding places for them to hide in. Driftwood also can act as a source of food.
